Preparation Before Use
Cleanse Skin: Before use, wipe the target area with a gentle cleanser or alcohol wipes to remove oil, sweat, and dirt, ensuring good contact between the electrode and skin.
Check Skin Condition: Avoid using on broken, red, swollen, infected, or inflamed skin to prevent irritation or the spread of infection.
Test for Allergic Reaction (Essential for Sensitive Skin): Test on a small area behind the ear or on the inside of the arm for 5–10 minutes. If there is no redness, itching, or other discomfort, then apply to a larger area.
Correct Application Method
Take an Appropriate Amount of Gel: Squeeze out an appropriate amount of gel (usually a pea-sized amount) according to the area to be used, forming a uniform layer 0.5–1.5 mm thick.
Even Coverage: Use your fingertips or a spatula to spread the gel evenly, ensuring no air bubbles or gaps. Pay special attention to areas with more hair, which may require shaving to ensure proper contact.
Avoid Contact with Mucous Membranes: Do not allow the gel to come into contact with eyes, mouth, or nasal cavity. If contact occurs, immediately rinse with plenty of water.
Operation with Equipment:
During Use of Beauty/Therapy Devices: Gently place the electrode head or probe onto the gel layer, maintaining a stable glide or adherence. Reapply as needed if the gel feels dry.
Microcurrent/Radiofrequency Devices: It is recommended to start with a low setting and gradually adapt to the current sensation; limit each use to 10–15 minutes.
Electroencephalogram (EEG) and Electrocardiogram (ECG) Testing: The electrode pads should be fully adhered to the standard lead points on the scalp or chest to ensure stable signal acquisition.
